Gil as well as Lagoona come from the pack of five which I only bought because of him. Male dolls rise in price that fast that they cost a three-digit sum in no time. As a separately packaged doll this Gil would have cost the same as the pack and the original version in beach wear costs roughly 300,- Euro. For a doll which originally cost 22,- that's audacious.
Gil's top is sewn badly at the neckline and the helmet has a blotch of silver paint on the other side. Apart from that he's perfect.

I would not have bought this Lagoona separately but I actually like her best of all the dance dolls from the pack. Her shoes are well-made, her bag in the shape of an oxygen tank is funny and the rest matches her colours well. Mattel doesn't even try to give them good hairdos these days, do they? She has a terrible cut with strands of various lengths.
