Well, let's try to introduce Valerie to you even though it seems impossible to take a decent photo of her.

Valerie is my first cloth doll. She's about 52cm in height, with movable legs and knees, she was my very first project made with my new sewing machine and her sewing pattern is from the book "Introduction to Making Cloth Dolls" by Jan Horrox.

She is the beginner's doll in the book so she has simple feet, mitten hands, a flat face and no bust. Her dress is mostly similar to the one in the book since the main points with this project were to buy the right materials and learn the basics.
