Owl

Image information

Description

As my first project I chose this owl. The sequins are fastened to the polystyrene with small nails, one per sequin, until the whole figure is covered. Since I had never done this before I asked the shop assistant if one pack of nails would last me through the whole project. She told me to better be safe than sorry and buy a second pack.

Well, let me say it right away: The owl ate four packs of nails. Additionally it required five packs of sequins in four colours. Including the polystyrene model this project ate roughly 26 Euros in material. Way more than I had guessed.
