Years ago my husband and I spent days making such trees as Christmas presents for our parents. Instead of beads we glued on gemstones (like jade) though. (Those trees were very popular back then and I own one too.) The stones were too heavy though and the trees looked awful after just a few weeks.
I wish I'd known about rocaille beads back then, those trees would still look good today!
