Shortly before I sent her I started to dislike the thick pink felt rim of Akshi's tail. So I removed it and used pink thread and a needle to add new pink accents to her tail. This was very time-consuming but created a nice natural, slightly rural look.
This is how she looked right before she hopped into the parcel to go on her big journey.

What will the future bring for Akshi v4? I don't know yet, maybe pink textile markers or paint? I might also give yellow felting wool another try, the artstore has a new label. In that case I'd replace the feet too though to give her a more uniform look.
