Forest Cache

Image information

Description

In this little pool of water in the forest are several bags with riches and some scattered jewelery. Since I love artifical water right now I paint everything I can test it on. I'm not very happy though, at least not with the Vallejo product. At first it looks great, than after a few days it gets a matte surface like wax and totally loses its effect. That can be rubbed off and then varnished, but it's a lot of work. It's mostly easier to just use white glue in the first place, at least that dries decently.

Nonetheless it's a fine model that looks good on the table. Since it's small we were able to print it in resin.
