Flower

Image information

Description

This flower - also made following a book - consists of 4 layers and turned out a bit too flat. After it was finished I made myself several cones from cardboard as assembly templates, so next time it will be easier to glue petals into layers with varying slants. The flower was supposed to be even more three-dimensional and curved.

Why I made so many pink flowers, you ask? My mother was disappointed because I didn't want to make her something from seed beads, since I'm not in the mood for bead work and also didn't have pink in stock. So I wanted to prove to her that paper is also nice. It worked. ;)
