"I'm dead serious! Come over, sit in the armchair and I'm gonna redo your hair."
"Tee hee hee."
"Come over here, now!"
"Okay, okay." Nareen said with a sigh. Then she coughed because she hadn't stopped giggling before she sighed.
She went over to the armchair and loosened her hairband.
"Let's comb you first." said Eternia. It felt nice to get her hair done by someone else, and Nareen relaxed.
"But don't make me ugly!"
"Don't worry, you'll be pretty. You just need a little change to realize how pretty you are. Wow, you have silky hair. And so much of it."
"What do you think, Pete?" asked Nareen when the cockatoo landed on her arm.
"SQUUUAAAWWWWWWK!" said Pete and Akshi who sat beside Eternia nodded.
"Alright, since everyone likes it I'll keep this new hairdo. Thank you, Eternia."
Shortly after the dolls were back in the kitchen. Nareen leaned heavily against the kitchen counter.
"I'm famished. There's nothing edible in the house."
"So hungry..." Eternia's stomach joined the sorrow with a loud grumble.
"What shall we do now? All we have is this pumpkin and even if I knew how to cook it we don't have a stove to do so."
Eternia thought for a minute. "Well, if we don't get fed let's find our own food!"
Nareen looked up. "What a great idea!"
"Let's split up. You search the livingroom, I roam the kitchen." Eternia was on her feet already and on the way out.
Nareen straightened. "Alright!"
"Dum dee dum..."
Nareen had quickly found a worthwhile target.
"These will do nicely! Yummie!" she said to herself while she rummaged through the bag with peanuts.
She only took as many as they needed for a meal and quickly went back home.
