"Hello everyone! I'm back!"
"Oh, you were gone?" Eternia looked seriously surprised. "I didn't notice, sorry..."
Slightly offended Nareen replied: "I thought so. You two are in your own world today. Luckily I had other pleasant company, thanks."
"Do you think she's angry on me?" Nareen wondered while sitting down.
"Naw, psh! On the contrary, I think she likes you."
"Really? We barely talked yet."
"You missed out on some serious topics!" Giselda chipped in.
"Serious topics?"
Eternia's eyes sparkled. "Yes, we were talking about Christmas preparations."
"Oh, that again. I still don't know what Christmas really is." The necromancer crooked her head.
When Giselda noticed that Eternia was about to answer she waved her hands. "Let me! Let me explain!"
"Alright, go ahead." Eternia leaned back with a grin.
Giselda sorted her thoughts for a moment, then she bursted out: "It's a big holiday that's celebrated once a year by almost everyone! It's about love and peace and lights and shiny stuff and lots and lots and LOTS of cookies and good food!"
"And somewhere there's a fir tree in that mix." Eternia added.
"Ha ha ha!" Nareen laughed. "That sounds like a very nice holiday."
"You forgot the presents." Eternia told Giselda. "Giving and recieving gifts is an important tradition."
"I will prepare a terrific meal for everyone as my present!" The tiny wingling started to count ingredients in her head.
Nareen felt sad. "Aw. But I don't have anything I could give as a present."
"We can do handicrafts. The important thing is that we'll get presents from the boss!" Eternia grinned broadly like a shark. "And we'll have a big party!"
"Bigger than the one on Halloween?"
"Much bigger! We have to invite everyone we know!" Eternia exclaimed.
Giselda gulped. "I figure the food preparations will take a bit longer then."
Now Nareen was excited too. "Great! I met new people today. We can invite them too!"
"Cool! What kind of people?"
"One was a cute college girl and the other one a young man."
"You met a man?!" In an instant Eternia was on her feet. "Where? Whom? What did he look like?"
"Err... He was handsome, I guess. Light blonde hair and tall. I met him in the garden, he wanted to take me to a concert. You can meet all kind of interesting people in the garden, and..."
"Tell me your garden stories later!" Eternia called back over her shoulder while running to the door. "I've gotta find him! Huzzah, a man!"
Nareen stared after her, unsure whether to laugh or cry.
"She's so embarassing." she finally said with a chuckle.
