Gerbils
Image information
Description
Here Belldandy has a bloody eye. After two years of happy cuddling both gerbils fought for the lead position in the habitat and it was a battle to the death. When it became obvious that none would give up and so one would end up dead I separated them. Belldandy bled on her eye, Morrigan had several bite wounds on her back.
From that day on both had to live in separate cages. As Belldandy was the main aggressor she had to move to the old aquarium while Morrigan was allowed to stay in the big cage. When Mo died of bleeding ulcer stones some months later Belldandy got the big cage and lived there for another year until she died from cancer.
