I've got to say, this whole thing puzzles me. The book is really nicely done, suitable for total beginners too and the material is of top quality. It comes with wool for four dogs, lots of cardboard collars, dog noses and tongues made from foam rubber, tiny bowties for poodles, felt for the ears, black wooden beads for the eyes, mini pom poms for the muzzles, a high quality pom pom maker tool and even glue. Of most things you get some spare ones or left-overs for your own projects, e.g. there's more than four noses. It would be the perfect craft set - if there wasn't too few wool in it! Of each colour I lack at least 1.5 yards, rather 2.5 yards. That is really sad and unexpected given the otherwise good quality of this set which was also not very expensive.

Luckily I had bought another pom pom maker set that day with various sizes and thus I was able to use a smaller pom pom maker for the head and thus saved on wool. But it would have been nice if I could have made the Chihuahua like instructed and maybe even have some wool left in case my next dog shall have spots. Someone who only has this set might end up with a slightly sparse doggie. My advise is to cut the string for fastening the pom pom as short as possible so you have a bit more left for the dog.
