A short time ago, my husband started to watch the MLP series on Amazon Prime. I joined him - and both of us were instantly hooked! Since then my view of the fourth generation of ponies changed fundamentally and of course it wasn't okay that my "gang" was incomplete.

So I quickly bought the one pony missing - Rarity. She's a fashion designer and seamstress who runs her own boutique, and she's a unicorn so she has magical powers. She uses her horn to find gems, which in Ponyville grow in the earth, and uses these in her designs. Although she often comes across as a snob and overly disgusted by dirt and mundane work she's actually a hard worker, a good friend and represents the element of generosity.
