Homemade Meals #1
Image information
It's thanks to this series that I basically stopped collecting Re-ment. My dream sets of this series are sets 5 and 6 (a bread machine and a tomato salad that comes with a delightful tomato plant in an old tin). What I got was sets 1-4. In this order. Bad luck? With this delivery I also got two complete boxes of other series and noticed that both started at the bottom left with set 1 and then went clockwise so I ended up with set 8 at the bottom right.
So I ordered another four sets and asked Plastikpop to draw a bit more randomly from the box. And got sets 1-4 again. In this order. Also two other series with consecutive sets. Plus a note that they know nothing about Re-ment being sorted and that of course they always draw randomly. I checked my previous orders (luckily I always took photos for the old forum) and noticed that all the sets in all series always had consective numbers - unless I had ordered one pack here and another weeks later. If I ordered e.g. four sets at a time I always had consecutive sets. And always in the right sequence (e.g. 5, 6, 7, 8 coming right after one another from the parcel). They disregarded my complaint again and declined to send me the other half of the box with the phrase "too much to do to care for special wishes".
Ever since then I only buy full sets and since there hasn't been a series yet of which I like at least 5 out of 8 sets I didn't buy any Re-ment at all.
The risk to get exactly the same things again like last time is just too high for me with this drawing method. So I also gave up ordering a few more packs of some series where I already own 4-5 sets and would hope for another 1-2. Of course I always expect duplicates but I don't want to get exactly the same as last time because they pick the boxes as they come and not randomly. The hope to get a missing set between the duplicates is now almost zero for me.
If this is truly my imagination then my imagination must be huuuge.
