Giselda
Image information
This is a piece of artwork on stretched canvas with styrofoam insert. The background was done with watercolours, for Giselda I used acrylics and an ink pen. Afterwards the picture was adorned with sequins.
I wanted a fluffy, feathery, slightly rough look for Giselda's dress as if it was made from materials found in the wild (cotton buds, feathers, moss...) so I used many different shapes. As usual when I go wildly creative I'm not sure if I've overdone it. I often think that my art is too steril and follows geometry and rules too much but when I try to break out of it people often hate it. So I can't judge what the broad public will think of Giselda's dress. *gg* If the sequins wedding pack contained big white flower shapes too I might have made it more of a sorted pattern but the way it was I just went wild on it.
The egg she holds is actually too dark to be one of Akshi's so I guess she's helping out another bird.
