Giant spiders are another monster from the basegame and thus made for low-level hero groups. They can actually be very dangerous since they can web heroes and then hit automatically, and there can be up to 12 of them. Last time a fresh group of heroes died in the first room of their first dungeon because they couldn't free themselves and were also forbidden from helping each other.
