Terrain

Image information

Description

Lots of terrain features for Krosmaster Quest!

The boardgames is sold with cardboard terrain features, and although they are all very cute and pretty, some are rather flimsy and fall apart easily. Apart from that, "real" terrain looks nicer too, of course, and so there are a whole bunch of people on Thingiverse who re-created cardboard stuff as 3D models. All models in this photo are from the same author and we just adapted the scales to our taste a bit. Those in front are painted already. In the back left, one of the Zaap portals was printed using transparent filament. Sadly that stuff never is clear as glass, but the light still shines through very nicely, especially once the rest is painted.

By now I printed lots more parts and also painted the majority of them, so I'm looking forward to our first game with real terrain.
