Shrooms

Image information

Description

This project is not very impressive but especially for beginners I wanted to show that bases made of polystyrene are very suitable for needle felt projects too. These shrooms I bought in a set and added felting wool. This saves wool as well as time and is a quick and easy way to create some decorations or bases for other projects.

Sadly there aren't many shapes available. These shrooms were only available at a local store as a set with very cheap felting wool. Originally they were meant to be fly agarics. I preferred to make them into mushrooms. If I could buy more of these shroom bases loosely I would make them into bases to sit small faeries on or even into little faerie houses.
