To set the right tone right away: here's a piccie of my very first painted miniature! Back then I was 13 and had to use Revell enamel paints, and for the most part outside because my mother didn't want me stinking up the house. So the barbarian was lucky that the wind didn't decorate him with any dirt! I still have the barbarian from the later published Master Edition to do a better paint job. This one stays like that for nostalgic reasons.
